Yuvraj Chopra, who recently graduated with his Master’s from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Sattler and Walia lab), joined our lab as a lab assistant. He is standing next to our lab’s newest microscope, Keyence BZ-X810!!

Sunil visited and interacted with Shivprasad and Amey Redkar’s lab at the National Center for Biological Science, Bangalore, India, on Dec 9 and then Utpal Nath’s lab at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, on Dec 10.

Sunil’s recent work in collaboration with Roston and Schnable labs featured in an article published in November’s ASBMB Today – “From lab to land: modifying crops to tackle tomorrow’s climate.”

Sunil officially started as Assistant Professor of Plant Resilience at UC Riverside 🎉🥳

Days before the official start date at UC Riverside, Sunil was invited to give a talk at the SoCal Plant Biology Meeting at UCSD.
